Fresh from securing his second MotoGP title at Phillip Island in Australia, Jorge Lorenzo stopped off to perform PR duties in Indonesia prior to his European return.

Among the activities were laps of the Sentul Karting circuit with former 250cc grand prix rider Doni Tata as well as general meet-and-greet activities organised by Yamaha Indonesia.

“It is important to maintain stamina to race. Practice often to gain maximum result,” Lorenzo told members of the Yamaha Riding Academy (pictured). “Mental strength is also important when competing against other riders.”

Of his second MotoGP title, Lorenzo said: “This is my dream, it still feels like flying in the sky! I'm so happy to celebrate my MotoGP second title in Indonesia. I hope there will be Indonesian riders in the world championships again.”

The final round of the 2012 MotoGP season will be held at Valencia, Spain from November 9-11.
