The past is the past - Pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa insists he won't be dwelling on the points lost last time at Misano. The Repsol Honda star sunk from 13 to 38 points behind fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo after technical problems on the restart for the San Marino MotoGP were followed by a first-lap accident. “The past is in the past and if you stick in the past you cannot go forward,” said Pedrosa at Aragon on Thursday. “So Misano is done and now we are here for a Spanish GP. It looks like the weather is not so good, so we hope it will not prevent the fans from coming here and watching. “Anyway, we will try to keep focus in every session, every lap. We were here a few weeks ago testing. It's a little different now with the weather, but we hope the bike is still working well.” “I like to enjoy riding,” he continued. “Obviously the championship is there. But it's not a good feeling when you think only about points. “So I try to make short-term goals and we will go practice by practice.” Like Pedrosa, Lorenzo has one non-score so far this year, also caused by being hit from behind by another rider.
