Red Bull backs new US round

Red Bull will extend its title sponsorship to all three US-based rounds of the 2013 MotoGP Wold Championship.

The energy drink firm, which already has naming rights for the Laguna Seca and Indianapolis events, has concluded a deal for naming rights to the new Circuit of the Americas race which will be known as the 'Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas'.

"I am very pleased with this new agreement and the fact that since MotoGP has landed on American soil, Red Bull has been a true partner and given Dorna support in a strong, determined and intelligent manner,” said Dorna CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta.
