Crutchlow doesn't deserve Hayden's ride - Kevin Schwantz
MOTOGP legend Kevin Schwantz has weighed in with his thoughts that Cal Crutchlow does not deserve to take Nicky Hayden's place in the Ducati team.
Cal Crutchlow has been linked to a two-year deal to join Ducati, whereas the Italian manufacturer chose to let the contract option to retain Hayden for next season expire.
Speaking to Superbikeplanet.com, on the outside chance that MotoGP could be without an American rider next season, Schwantz said: "Nick doesn't deserve to be replaced by a guy named Crutchlow, who says if he had a factory bike, he could be winning. He [Crutchlow] hasn't been on the frickin' podium yet."
Who would you choose between Crutchlow and Hayden?
